I had the gearbox repaired on my 1936 Ford Roadster and have reinstalled in the vehicle but the stop lights don’t work. I have headlights, tail lights, parking lights and high beams but no stop lights or dash lights. I have tried switching all wire connections but still no stop lights or dash lights. Can someone help trouble shoot problem?

Have you checked the wires on the stop light switch? The switch is down near the transmission and could have been disturbed. If not, you could check if the switch is bad by touching the two wires together that go to it and the brake lights should come on. For the dash lights, are you pushing the switch in for on, unlike must cars the switches are pulled out. Disconnect the wires at the switch and then reconnect after cleaning them. Frank

Check terminals. Have you checked if there's power going to the switch? And when pressing the pedal power going out?
