I have a 33 ford that has wear on the bottom side of the inside portion of the front axle spindles where the inner bearing rides . This was probably caused by the bearing freezing up from lack of grease. I was able to take most of the wheel play out by shimming the hub out with a large 3/32 " thick washer but I would like to either have the spindles reconditioned or replaced. Does anyone have a suggestion on who would have them or could rebuild them to the proper size? I checked with several large suppliers and they do not list the spindles.

You would probably be better off with used originals. Did you just check catalogs or did you ask the guy at the counter what they had in the back (or under the bench). If they only have one it doesn't end up in the catalog. Be sure to call and ask at the Early Ford Store (909) 305-1955, C&G http://www.cgfordparts.com/, and CW Moss (760) 740-2400 cwmossautoparts.com, (714) 639-3083. You should add your general location to your profile, I assume it is the state of Maine but I hate to have to guess. Charlie Stephens

It's highly likely that Michael Driskell at Third Gen Automotive in McMinnville, TN has some good used ones. The wear you describe is very unusual and apart for bent tie rod arms arising from collision damage, '32-'34 spindles are near bullet proof and therefore a good bet in used form as Charlie notes.
