There was a guy that sold NOS parts from behind the Dennis Carpenter complex. I do not remember his name. He used to run an ad in Hemmings every month. But the ad was not in latest issue. I am sure if you call Carpenters they can give you his name and phone number. I did buy this part from him many years ago while at a Eastern National Meet. Fred KILLIAN

51woodie, That is exactly the part I need...nice photos too! Thanks. 41-42fordadvisor, I have a supposed original 39 flathead and will take a photo as I'm sure it has the same configuration as 51woodie photos. The history of the car is known, but maybe something was done. Thanks Fred for the part number...does anyone supply them?

The intake manifold is the same from 1941-1948. The 1939 manifold does not have the threaded opening at the back of the manifold to mount those two parts. If you want to use those parts then you will have to get and install an intake manifold from 1941-1q48. Fred Killian

MICHV8 I think the attached pictures of my '46 engine is the part you are asking about. I looked in my various books, but could not come up with a part number. I don't know why the pictures turn side ways when included. One pic turned one didn't.

To the data phobic what I am going to post is anathema. In the days of the Internet bubble I had many sites and emails as I explored where this whole thing was going and every different server had different rules for addresses. Most did not like spaces and would remove them so the natural tendency was to use a _wherever one occurred in the offline records. Maybe on a different server _was not allowed and a -had to be used. Now specifically, using the DVD of 1928-1948 FORD CHASSIS PARTS AND ACCESSORIES CATALOGUE NOV 1950.pdf I could not find some things when I used - when I should have used and even in the 2019 Roster of Members 2019 the cars have a space between the year code and the body type. (You almost cannot see where I put the space instead of the -in my previous line, Yeah! right there.) Also, even being this careful using the 11A 17595 code I find a connector for a 33 but totally miss the silencer windshield wiper until I actually use that text and find the items for 35-48 pass and comm. Even using 11A 17595-A which I am looking right at Adobe Acrobat cannot find the Silencer windshield wiper. This then leads to social studies and the Trico strike which led to a song in a book I ordered, "The English Folksinger" ~159 modern and traditional folksongs~ by Sam Richards & Tish Stubbs

Thanks you! Will both parts also work on a 39?

The part you want is called a Silencer-windshield wiper part number 11A-17595. It screws into the intake manifold. It was used from 1941-1948. Fred Killian

Does anybody know the part that inserts into the banjo of distributor vacuum line 21A-12226 (photo attached) and feeds the wiper hose?
