I bought bows from LB header bow worked great,the back bow needed modification make it work. The catalog said in most cases some modifications are needed.

Thanks guys The website has 2 (?) entries for 1939 convertible coupe: 1) Front Bow for 1937-1939 Ford Convertible Coupe 2 Door; Front bow with Notched Ends 2) Wood Front Bow. 2 Door Convertible Coupe neither photo is great but 1) is black and even harder to see what a notched end means

Be aware that usually the wooden bows require careful fitting, particularly the header bows on open cars. This is necessary to provide the close fit to the dowels, and the embedded fasteners, in some models.

Oak Bows was not LeBaron Bonney's supplier of bows.

Try Oak Bows in Pennsylvania. They have supplied top bows etc. to the hobby for years and are still in business. They are probably the supplier to LB

Anybody have a good source for a 39 convertible coupe header bow? Lebaron Bonney have been unreliable lately... Thanks!
