Does anybody have any ideals on where I might find a 1936 Ford spare tire lock.

Is this what you are looking for, I do not have the key but am sure a good lock shop can make one. Send your email address and I can send more pictures.

Ron, there are two pieces to the '36 spare tire lock, the lock is the main piece and then there is a large spring affair that secures the lock to the cover. I would assume that you are using the standard cover which has a center that looks like a standard '36 hub cap.

I have the spring and round cover. I had to drill my lock out after several days trying to unlock it, to get my spare tire out. I did everything I could and what others told me to do but no luck. had just purchased the 36 which has been in storage for 25 years. I did purchased the lock with no key from a member and my locksmith in town said he can make a key. Thanks for all the help.
