I had hoped I could do this but I don't see any bolts for the back rest. It almost feels like the arm rests and back rest come out as one piece. I will look again.

You may be able to adjust the backrest up a little to give you more room for the cushion.

Try to lift the bottom cushion up to about a 45 degree angle. get someone to help you push it back and down under the seat back at the same time. The back may be in way if you try to push straight in. Good luck. I had to use both feet to push the one in my 30. The 36 was easier.

Thanks.. When I was getting it reupholstered they told me the cushion springs were wrong as they were flat. I bought a set of springs that had the channel or hump set in it and that should have worked. I just can't seem to get the bottom cushion to slide in under the seat back no matter how hard I try. Luckily, I don't sit back there.

Mine is a slant back.. no trunk. I will pull the seat back down and see what I can find.

There are two bolts and nuts at the top of the frame in the trunk. Take them off and the seat back will tip forward. I had to really push down on the cushion to get mine to fit Good luck!

I can't get the seat bottom to slide all the way back and stay so I was looking to pull the seat back out and make sure the seat cushion fits like it should. It was recently reupholstered and might just have too much padding, or the replacement springs I bought from Synder's might be wrong. Does the seat back come out completely without tearing it all apart?
