Is there a source for what type of bolt goes where to hold the body to the frame?

Thanks Really looking for where what bolt goes where. Have bolts. Some places are obvious like square hole for stove type bolts but some are not so obvious. Got a bag of different size bolts . ????

When I did my basket-case '32 I bought a few fasteners I knew I needed from Roy along with a catalog. Then I sorted all of the fasteners I had into piles of identical parts on a large table. Using known samples of various sizes and threads I figured out what I had in each pile. For example, six 1/4 x 20 bolts 1 inch long. I also studied the parts I had to see about how many fasteners it would take to bolt them on. Then I looked through the catalog for a similar set of bolts to see what it fit. The big green Chassis Parts and Accessories Catalogue also has many pictures that include bolts with numbers you can look up to see the sizes and threads. I like puzzles and I look back on this as one of the most fun parts of the assembly.

Hopefully your example of six 1/4-20 x 1" bolts is just a generic example and not related to the attachment of your '32 body to its chassis frame as no 1/4-20 fasteners were originally used for that purpose.

Yes, I was too lazy to go out in the garage and find a real example. I was answering the generic question of one way to approach a bewildering basket case. Thanks for the clarification.
