I posted about that car on here back in 2014 and it has been discussed on the FordBarn a few times. https://www.earlyfordv8.org/forum/viewmessages.cfm?Forum=18&Topic=7499&keywords=1937%20Ford%20Cabriolet The most recent FordBarn post: https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=244802 . . . 78-730B

The Nancy Drew car has been discussed before and I believe the conclusion was that the 37 Roadster was modified for the movie, to conform with the roadster described in the books. The movie is on Youtube.

I recently saw an old movie featuring a 1937 Ford Convertible coupe with a sidemount spare on the Passenger Side Front Fender. Was this a Factory Option or was this car modified for the movie? The Spare was mentioned in the movie dialog.
