Hi, I just obtained my first old Ford, a 1940 deluxe hard top, and have 2 holes in the center top of the dashboard, just above the radio, one above the other. I know the one closest to the radio is for the antenna, but need to know what the other one is for (closest to the windshield). I'm sure there must be dozens of you out there that know what belongs there. Thanks for your help, Pete

Good Afternoon, Pete--- If I understand your description correctly, the hole in the dashboard that is closest to the windshield should have a round maroon knob on it. The knob turns the windshield wipers off and on. 2 photos are forthcoming. Tom

Hey Tom, That's the one I'm talking about, my dash was modified and they placed the wiper knob on the bottom of the dash. Thanks for your reply, now I can see about changing it back to the original. That is one beautiful dashboard in the photos you sent! Have a great week. Pete
