The wing nut was stamped metal - nothing like a modern nut available at the hardware store. These are kind of tough to find. You might try Roy Nacewicz as he has a lot of these "odd" fasteners available. The glove box know is available from Carpenter Ford Parts.

I recently purchased a 1938 Tudor sedan and it's missing a couple of parts that I'm having a hard time finding. First, is the wing nut for the air cleaner and the knob for the glove box. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
