I have a 1950 Ford 4 door that I am trying to rewire. (they were using a piece of House extension cord for the brake lights.) Any way I have gotten to the Heater. There is one push button below the heater controls, and then a three position switch Beside the steering column. Does Any one know how it actually works I assume the push button was a on off switch. But the three position switch is used to control the fan motor but it has three connections coming out of it. I am not sure how to wire it.

The push button just turns the heater control light on or off. The heater control switch is just off, low fan and high fan. I'm not sure of the wiring.

That is surprising. I would have thought the light would come on with the dash lights. But then again the courtesy lights are hooked up that way as well A different switch on the dash.Thank you for your help. It answers some of my questions
