vendor for '41 ford fender/running boards

i have a '41 2-dr sedan and need front fender bolts/washers/ rubber mounting bushings, everything to reassemble front fenders/inner panels ect. also need hardware for mounting running boards ect. problem i'm running into is the vendors don't list or skip over '41. will '40 parts fit or not? other thing i get is salesman don't know either. any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Talk to Roy Nacewicz. Most of the bolts used to mount the fenders and other front clip parts are the same for a 40 and 41. The kits supplied by the popular vendors will not have the correct type and number of bolts for your front clip. Here is the link to Roy's website: http://www.fordscript.com/ When you are assembling your car, have a can of semi-gloss clear paint and an artist brush handy to coat the S-2 (black coated) bolts and nuts. This will help to keep them rust free.

The problem with finding body parts for '41 is that there were at least two separate and different front fender styles that year due to a factory "running change". That is why most vendors don't list them.
