What do ya think? On the early V-8's is the integral bell housing strong enough to hang the engine from (using an engine stand?) If not what works best for disassembly, as well as assembly? Den

An exhaust mount rig adaptor. I'm downsizing and happen to have mine for sale. One of the best made (forged alum. alloy. for $50 plus shipping and have an "Oberg" tilting device for installing or removing engines. Same price $50 could be put in same box as mount for no ship chg. ken ct. 1-203-260-9780

The short answer is NO. Some people have gotten away with it, but it is not a good idea. Check with a local Regional Group, to see if there is one that you can use or buy.
