Did a search (correctly) for choke/throttle cable and got no info. My problem is how to build a throttle cable as mine is MIA. I have the choke cable as a pattern, but have been unable to find a complete unit for the throttle or very many parts for that matter. Any suggestions or instructional pics? Obsolete Parts in OKC, Ok lists them, however I was assured by them that there would most likely be no more--hence this plea. Any assistance would be appreciated. William (stumped again) Brown

Have you tried Bob Drake or Dennis Carpenter?

Well, after looking at the website of the Early Ford Store in California and their pictures of stock, why order from the "big" boxes and deal with out of stock, poor deliveries and lack of communication??? JMO John

Reply to my p.m. with your contact information - have a source for all the (used) components you need/are looking for.

Check to see that your carb has a throttle arm on the driver side. Many 46-48 cars didn't have them, for some reason. I have bought carbs at swap meets just to get the arm and shaft.

Yep, it does have the throttle linkage on the carb, just need the dash to carb assembly.

C&G shows the choke cable assembly with the tan knob as 6A-9700CT. If your car is an early '47 and has the gray knob the suffix is CTC. The blue/gray set is CTB. These sets are pricey, about $150/set. 800/266-0470. The sets include cables, know, clips and grommets

Thanks Large. Did note the 2015 catalog showed the items, however, current on-line indicates no such part number. Will give them a call to see if they have them.
