Morning All, I am well on my way completeing my rebuld of my '37 pick-up engine.In a few days I will be repainting everything and have started to get the transmisson ready for paint. So is the tranny painted Ford Green also since it's cast iron? Thanks Gary Moscow,Idaho

yes painted same color GREEN as the engine, the universal ball cap is painted black, the steel parts that attach to the back of transmission, hope this helps,37RAGTOPMAN, this does not have to be your LAST POST, what else would we have to do ?

Thank you Mr. Ragtopman,only my last painting question. I started this project about a year ago now and did take some time off during the hunting season from Sept to Dec. Never having done anything like this before I sure have had some good times and then I felt like just walking away from it at times but I'm getting closer now every day. I've used this site alot plus with the green bible and a old motor's book I've made it. Even finding stuff I'm looking for I don't understand it some times. Plus if I can I'll try and find NOS stuff cause the repo stuff... I've learned. The last big item will be the interior. the only tough piece will be the headliner I think It's all just cardboard stuff and buttons. The rubber mat should be fun.Any ways Thanks Gary Moscow, Idaho
