With the passing of Dave Cole last Friday, the hobby has lost an icon. His research and writing for both the Early V8 and Lincoln Zephyr clubs have been major contributions to our knowledge and he will be sorely missed. May he rest in peace.

RIP Dave. I will miss your single spaced type written letters, all fitting on one side of the stationery!! Your contribution to the hobby has been greatly appreciated. Don Rogers

Dave Cole gave us pieces of Ford history that many of us would not have known if it hadn't have been for Dave. He will be missed by the entire membership of the Early Ford V-8 Club. There will be a huge set of shoes to fill to take over where Dave left off. RIP Dave. Tom Johnston
