I cleaned the rust off my 33 pickup hand brake lever an was unable to determine what finish it had. Would it have been painted or chrome?

Speaking about 1935-36 pickups, the main shaft housing was satin black. Not sure if yours has a plunger button on the top or not, but that was chrome on 1935-36. Hope this helps.

E-brake handle is the same as the car's, chrome that has a "satin" finish. "Satin" is chrome that has been "dulled" by using "Scotch-Brite", ultra fine. I have '34 pickup and is the one on the V8 web site of photos.
