I have disassembled my 39 pickup for frame off restoration. I am installing both a new front end and a new rear end with the chassis out for sand blasting. Without the old front end and the old rear end, I am looking for a diagram that shows the measurements from the rear of the chassis and the front of the chassis for the proper distance for the installation of the new front and rear ends. Any suggestions?

vanpeltsales.com has frame drawings. The drawing of the 1937-1939 car frame is the same as the ½ ton but for the body mount outriggers. You’ll see that both front and rear cross members are there , exploded picture version, and are mounted with rivets. You’ll go by the rivet holes, no measuring required, but you might need a jig to get it all squared up. …And yes, rivets are the way to go, not bolts.
