I believe there is WELT between REAR Fenders & box for a Period Correct installation......Is that also true for Tonner Rear Fenders?

Be careful as a lot of trucks you see put this rubber welting that shows between the box and rear fender. That only belongs on the front fenders. The rear as far as I know, only gets the cotton webbing- that goes anywhere there is metal to metal panels against each other. What year truck are you speaking about?

I guy on Ford Barn- GB Sisson, has some good knowledge with those WW 2 era trucks. Thats an interesting point but I wouldn't think there'd be a distinction between tonnage ratings for webbing. If there's metal to metal then I would assume the cotton webbing would be in place. But I'm not an expert.
