Anyone have a sure fire way to tell the difference between 1/2 ton front fenders & Tonner/bigger trucks front fenders?

GB Sisson on the Ford Barn is pretty much all things Jail Bar. Might check over there if no one here has an answer.

rawir the wheel opening are most likely bigger for the bigger tires, everything should be the same, I know this is correct for later trucks, you might want to GOOGLE, in images for 46 FORD TRUCKS hope this helps, 37RAGTOPMAN

Fellows! Thanks for weighing in! I have put 1/2 ton front fenders side by side Tonner or Ton.5 front fenders. Looking CLOSELY they show a difference in the size of the wheel opening. That being said i am not smart enough to find 2 measuring points that show different measurements. I would have guessed there would be measuring point differences but i can not find them

Measure from the last running board bolt hole closest to wheel opening, to the wheel opening flange. The pickup measures something like 13.5" where the bigger trucks measure around 10" if I recall. There is a difference in that width of wheel opening to running board mounting of 3 or 4 inches.
