Can any one ID this cap? All the ones ive ever seen have the V8 seems to be 39 style…..

And not a V-8, as that would have been on the cap. Over the years FORD was used for non-V-8.

3/4 ton trucks used the wide five pattern but I don't know when it stopped. Ford came out with the 4 banger and flathead six in 1941. That's why the V8 logo was dropped from the tailgate on the '41 p/u's and also from the hood of the 3/4 and larger '41 big trucks. So the lack of V8 could mean that it's 41 or later if indeed it is from a 3/4 ton truck. Just a guess.
