I picked up this heater several years ago to go in my 41 Pickup. Just wondering if anyone know what it is supposed to go in? It looks like it has never been installed, paint looks original not restored. Has V8 on the chrome doors, it looks like they were painted black at one time.

That's a nice one! I like it, I'd use it, but it's not from a Ford.

So is this an after market heater? Made recently? I have another heater exactly like the script one, but without the V8 script and the doors are painted the same color as the body. It looks old and like it had been on a car prior. What makes me think they are old is the wiring is the old type of cloth covered wire, and it is brittle.

Great looking heater. Even though it may not be stock I would use it. It's especially cool with the V-8 embossed on the doors.
