The '37 trucks had a wiper on the steering wheel side with the passenger side optional and yes, the factory dome lamp was located on this side cover as well.

Yes, the dome lamp was on option on your '37 and was located on the right hand wiper cover. While your at it, you might notice other options available on the '37 There was a stainless band surrounding the hood side louvers. The grille could be chrome. The windshield frame could be chrome. The rear window could have a slider and your steering wheel could be the Deluxe banjo type. For some reason (probably marketing), Ford really optioned the '37's more than other commercial cars of that era.

the reading light in the wiper cover, the chrome grille, the stainless around the hood lovers and several other item were part of the deluxe package for 37 trucks. they were not listed as options by themselves. it was the deluxe package.this package also included 2-inside sunwisors, dual horns, chrome windshield frame and 2 wipers.the sliding rear window was an option which could be ordered on any truck.the deluxe package as well as the sliding rear window were available on half-ton vehicles and big trucks. the radio antenna for trucks was rather weird looking as went across rhe front of the cab on top.

Do you have ANY idea where to find the stainless trim around the hood louvers?
