can a member recommend a site to obtain headlight assy. Thats the two pieces that sit just inside the fender. (41 merc) I think the ford would use the identical units. Thanks.

The parts your are describing is an assembly called the "headlight bucket". The only ones I found are in the C&G catalog. None are listed specifically for the '41 Merc, but there is a listing for '40 Merc, 01A-13026. I don't have a Merc parts list, so I can't determine the interchange. My friend, Tom O, monitors this section, and he may be able to see if it is a match. In any case, they aren't cheap, at $112.50 each.

The headlight buckets in the 40 and 41 Merc are different. The 41-48 Ford and Mercury use the same bucket P/N 51A-13008.
