Looking for advice on the appropriate jetting for a Holley 94 carburetor that I am overhauling for a 52 Mercury motor in my 1935 Ford coupe. Throats of carburetor are 1.25 inch. Jets I removed ate 51s. Thanks: Arnie

Arnie, if I'm not mistaken, you did properly post in the Lincoln section. I believe that you mistakenly posted 1.25 instead of 1.0025, which would make it Lincoln, not Ford 94. I would venture a guess that .051 jets would be just fine. Alan EDIT: Unless it's a teapot, not sure if that is also 1 1/16"?

Sorry but all 94 carbs from the 91-99,21-29 , 59 ,8BA ,EAB,and EUB all have 1.250 passages on the base section. There are bigger ones on the later ones like 54-56 carbs. ken ct.

Sneezer, Ken reminds me that the base of a 94 is 1.25", which may be what you refer to. A 94 carb has by definition a .94" venturi, otherwise known as 15/16", which is also clearly marked on every 94 carb. Looks like I had a typo in my previous post of 1.0025, should have read 1.0625, which is a Lincoln Zephyr, marked with a 1 1/16" venturi.

Personally I would try .052 or .053 MJ's ,course I have a huge selection of jets.I would NOT have to buy them. OMO ken ct. Come to think more about it 52 Mercury motors of that vintage use loadamatic dist. youwill have to use a 8BA or later and im not sure that will work as Merc carbs have a very small hole for vacume to dist.comes from a diff place in the ventury. Someone else will jump in on this im sure. ken ct
