Mike what size thread did ford use on tie rod ends, the part that goes into cross shafts not the tapered end.

11/16 x 18. Ford use a left hand and right hand thread on the tie rod.

Ford often used unusual threads and bolt sizes, so keep them if you have any lying around. Our box filled with them, dating back to the Model A days, has come in handy more than once.
