Hi everyone, I am looking for a set of grab, assist or robe straps and bolts for a 40 Tudor sedan they attach to the B pillar. Or does anyone know if it was a bolt or a screw that held the straps on and what size Dave

Have you looked in the 1940 Body parts book. Many times the hardware is located after the main part by part number. You then have to look in the Ford hardware book which has a description of the hardware. I may have a pair with hardware but will have to look, which may take some time.

Good morning, Dave-- Check page 2-29 of "It's Ford For '40". Mike gives you a good description of your requested info on the Assist Strap, including hardware. If you don't have a copy of it yet, go to the blue section of your screen, click on "Online Store", then click on the link for "Ford Books". The book is a must-have for '40 owners. Just for fun, enclosed are photos of the Assist Strap location and installation on my FORDOR Sedan. The setup for your Tudor should be similar to what is shown. Good luck with the Tudor. Tom

Hi Tom Thanks for the info. Could you take a picture of the page and post it. The picture you sent are like the ones I have, but don't have the bolt. Please let me know when you find them. thanks
