Hey everyone! I'm seeking information about the 1940 Ford NOS Unity fog lights for a restoration project on a Ford from that era. I understand these are rare accessories sought after by collectors and enthusiasts. If anyone has any experience with these fog lights or knows where I might find some in good condition, I'd appreciate any advice or information. Thanks in advance for your help!

A few days ago I happened to drive by Unity's plant on the near-north side of Chicago. Still in an old industrial building that looks like it was built in the twenties, one of the last holdouts in a gentrifying neighborhood. I nodded in respect for the history in that building. My teenage son bought a 2016 police car out of a municipal auction. The modern spotlight plastic lens and reflector was all weather-beaten. Turned out to be no problem: Unity still sells exact replacement parts on their website.

Are these what you have? If so, and they are nice as you describe, maybe $600ish. Years ago, $1000 or more. Those days are gone unfortunately.

Lights also have amber 9165 lenses. All of the description on the lights are absolutely concourse correct.
