Morning all, I have the original fender shields that I believe are meant for inside the front fenders. I can't seem to see how these are meant to go in? Anyone have directions/pictures of how they are installed under there? Thanks,

Good Morning--- Check out pages 1-17 to 1-19 of Mike's book "It's Ford for '40". They show detailed photos + have detailed descriptions of how they're installed. It will tell you all about both the "aprons" and the rear fender "braces". To be "politically correct", fender shields was the term given to the car's rear exterior fender skirts. WHY, I haven't the slightest idea! I've been calling them "fender skirts" since the 60s. Good Luck. Tom

Good Evening--- It was my pleasure to help. "It's Ford for "40" was one of Ford's advertising slogans in 1940. When the book arrives, check page VIII, in the very front of the book, where the slogan is shown. You will find Mike's work/research/photographs, etc., to be outstanding. All the reviews that I've seen from my fellow Club members about the book, have been excellent. Have a good weekend. Tom
