Is the 1950 Ford 6 cyl radiator core the same size and quantity as the V/8 core? I know the coolant quantity is different for the whole system but are the cores the same?

Sorry, I cannot answer your question. If you put it in the General Ford section of the Forum, someone with radiator core knowledge might answer you.

I would kind of doubt it, because it has 2 cylinders less that an 8, and doesn't need that capacity that an 8 needs to cool. That makes me think that Ford would make a smaller radiator for the six and save a little money. think about it when you make hundreds of thousands of cars in a given year, if you save just one dollar on every one, that adds up to a lot of money!, and Henry, and Edsel weren't dopes!!
