Can anyone tell me what this bracket supports? Does it support the headliner bow? Thank you

Yes, the very first (forward) headliner bow. The bow goes within the small "V". As you have it positioned in the photo, it (bow) is on the incorrect side of the bracket. Mike "Kube" Kubarth

When you put the headliner in, do you cut a small slit in the loop where the bow goes thru, then push the small "V" tab into the slit between the bow and headliner? Thank you

Larry, Yes, you are correct. Once you are confident you have the liner centered, you make a small slit in the pocket of the liner. I suppose you could push that "prong" through the liner but me? I would not risk any possible ill effect by doing so. I tend to make the slit about 1" wide so when I shrink the liner, it can move a bit on that prong if necessary. Mike "Kube" Kubarth
