I need assistance with the installation of the hood on my 1940 ford convertible. I need a correct list of the nuts, bolts, etc required . I have purchased a kit from Roy Nacewicz years ago and it appears that possibly it is not the one I need. Can you help.

Check with Carpenter or Drake. They should have the correct bolts. Make sure the ones that go from the hinges to the hood have the holes drilled for the safety wire.

Mace, Can you send me a photo of what you have? I can identify each piece and its respective location for you. Be very careful with the 1/4" hex head bolts as they are often too long and will damage your hood from the inside. Roy was selling the proper length. Carpenter and drake were supplying them too long.
