I was a t car show and there was a40 packard there and the stainless trim looked just like the forty ford trim. Does anyone know if there is a connection.

I don't know if there is a connection other than it's very likely the same company that made the trim for Ford, made trim for Packard as well as other companies. Not being familiar with Packard's and looking at the "quality" of the restoration, might it be possible the trim (on the Packard) is not correct?
