I set up my sector shaft(the steering wheel felt a little hard to turn, with the wheels off of the floor;) so I loosened the 4 bolts , and turned lower cover CCW, a few times to get a Good Feel at the steering wheel. Then retightened the 4 bolts.I noticed then that the "Slightest movement" of the steering wheel , moved the front wheels.I thought, This is good! Now I notice when driving on a fairly straight road I'm always compensating, a little left with the steering wheel,or a little right, to keep the car going straight . I drove a '50 car in 1955 for 2 years , and don't remember about this. Is this normal with bias tires?I had the front alinement checked, and all specs were good. Do I need to recheck the lbs. to turn the steering wheel,or get Radial tires?
