  I took a look at those also. I found an electric wiper motor I think can be used instead of a vacuum type. It doesnt rain often here but when it does it can be epic an electric motor should be more reliable. Thanks for replies.

  Don't do it. You'll have fitment problems and voltage issues. The original Trico vacuum motor is reliable and can be rebuilt to original specs. Get hold of Mellisa Klein, Clean Sweep Wiper Motors, Terrabonne, Oregon. (541) 420-9098. Mellisa is arguably the best in the business, and can take care of your needs quickly.

  Alan's advice is spot on for rebuilding a wiper. Add a little Rain X and you are good to go.
