What is the difference between the coupe and sedan rear fenders on a 35 ford

The difference? Shape, IE fitment. They do not interchange. Mike "Kube" Kubarth

That's a reasonable question, but then, Kube's answer is perfectly reasonable too. Just can't say it any better! Alan

The '35 (and '36) coupe/roadster/cabriolet rear fenders attach to the body with 7 bolts. The '35 (and '36) sedan/convertible sedan/phaeton rear fenders attach to the body with 8 bolts. All '35 rear fenders have a concave profile. All '36 rear fenders have a convex profile.

Thanks kube! Someone told me that the difference was the bolt flange and to use them interchangeable you would have to cut part of the bolt flange off.

Thanks V8er!! Is there a mod that could be done to a sedan fender to fit on a coupe?

Yes, after adding a lot of metal and doing a lot of welding. And using a real coupe fender to get some critical dimensions.
