What is the ohm range of a 36 fuel sender I am considering converting my 35 to a 36 gauge. i have a 36 gauge but would have to find a sender I could adapt to the 35 tank. Has anyone done this any help would be appreciated. Mike

Here is a link to the AACA that has information on fuel senders. I could be wrong, but I believe the senders function the same. I salvaged a sender from a '51 sedan, cleaned it up, configured the float arm travel to match the tank it was going in to, and it is now working in my '46 Coupe. A good reading for a fuel sender is zero ohms. The attached chart is for a '51, but will give you a general idea for setting the float arm travel. https://forums.aaca.org/topic/238627-1936-ford-fuel-gauge-repair/ This message was edited by 51woodie on 8-16-24 @ 8:00 AM
