Took me a little over a week and many long hours but finally she’s registered and on the road. I have one problem I have gone through two radiator caps and nothing seals the radiator maybe I’m Filling it to full any suggestions. Thank you very much I love this website

You are correct. Above the fin-tube radiator is it’s built-in expansion tank. Need to leave room in the tank for coolant to fill it as the coolant expands when warm.
These cooling systems are not pressurized. The cap will easily release excess coolant. Then it should find its own level.

Nice looking 33 Fordor. One like that was my first early Ford V-8 back in 1974. Mine was the same color also. Enjoy!

JayChicago is on it. My '47 uses a 4 lb pressure cap but as some older posts here have recommended, leave the (cold) coolant level about 2 inches below the top of the radiator neck. That should work assuming your temperature gauge doesn't indicate over-heating, which may be caused by blockage in the radiator fin cores and/or the thermostats misbehaving.
