I am currently doing a frame up restoration on a 36 conv sedan.
I would like to contact some members who have one.
I live in Canada about an hour from Detroit . I am having trouble with the removable center posts between the windows. thanks.

I have a 35 conv. sedan and the center post detail should be equivalent. What's the problem you are having?

I purchased a set of reproductions on ebay . They are well made but are just the wood with wrap around metal .

I also bought a set of pads and the hold down screw from Dennis Carpenter. I believe I am missing some hardware needed to complete this. A few pictures of a completed set would help. Specifically the top and bottom. Thanks.

there should be one hole in one end of the post and two holes in the other end. There are studs that go into the holes. The single long stud goes in the bottom and the two shorter studs fit in the top. There are stainless strips to hold the window weather strip on either side of the post. Two of the studs have a v groove in them that the hold down screw engages to hold them in. Here is the first of several pics.

If you don't have the studs, you will probably have to make them as no one repops them. If you needs dimensions or any other info let me know and I'll see what I can come up with.

Thank you very much. That helps a lot. I think I can finish it from here. Without the pictures I was just guessing. I am told I might have the only one in Canada. I am a year or two away from completion. Trying to get all the hard to find parts I am missing . Mostly time, money and patience.

Yes. Thank you I was in touch. He told me I have the only one in Canada he was aware of.

Thanks so much Tom, this is great info. If I don't have theses in my boxes of parts I think I can make them. I was able to buy a new set of rubber pads from Dennis Carpenter . I assume the window channels will be pretty standard.
