I am building a large scale 1 1/2 " per foot model of a 48 woody wagon. I am on the frame and need the measurements for the front cross member. I have all of the other measurements. As many numbers that I get would be great. I am a member of a car club in Colorado with only one 40s car and it has a Mustang front end. Thanks

Sounds like an interesting project! Could you post some pics of your woody? In progress would be nice. I would think most all crossmembers of that year would be the same, but there are enough knowledgeable people on this site, that any info you need, just ask. 42oink

66. One source that I have used is the Benson Ford Research Centre in Dearborn Michigan. You can visit and ask to search for specific information, and you will get a box of microfiche to look through. Pick out what you want, and they will copy the documents and drawings for you. You can also call or send an email a request for information. There is a charge for their services, but I have found the information to be very valuable. mailto: research.center@thehenryford.org or call (313) 982-6100 Ext. 2517
