The next size up from the tubing I have is to large to go up the steering box. I have a tube I removed from a 1932 steering box for a sample but can't find the tubing anywhere. It's not metric and not US. I have made several phone calls to tube suppliers but none have those dimensions. I'm stumped!

I checked these NOS ones and got an average of .380" ID & .420" OD for a wall thickness of .020 . Fred at SouthSide Obsolete in Fairbault MN probably has some of these NOS . Robert Azario in FL had some of these also . Well he did when he sold me 8 of them . He still had more at that time .

I have the same problem with my 32 steering box leaking, Do you know how long the tube has to be?, In the meantime until the steering box is fixed, can the steering box be filled with grease? Thanks

The tube I have is six and three eights inches from the bale to the end. I have just about given up on my search for this really odd sized tubing, .420 OD X .392 ID X .014 wall.

I have 2 of the type used on 36's not same as 37 up . It may be the same as 33-34. In any case you cut off the tube from mine and silver solder it to a plate you could make, Mine is diamond shaped and has areal small diamond shaped tab on each side to hook the bail on??? Asking $25 + $8 ship. ken ct 1-203-260-5945 cell or PM. The 2 I have are exactly like David J.'s pic. Make me an offer I don't need 2 extra's
