As the purchaser of a Emeritus winning car, how would I enter that car in the next V8 meet? Do I just stay Emeritus and get a walk-around? Thanks.

Check page 33 of your 2014 EFV-8 C/A Roster of Members for the requirements of this classification.

Do the V8 awards that a car has won, stay with the car when it is sold? Could not find reference to that in the Roster.

If you read the Vehicle Classification, you will see that the owner may enter the car in the Emeritus division. If it does not meet the standards, it can be withdrawn or point judged at the owner's option.

Congratulations on your purchase. The previous owner can include the awards the vehicle has won with the sale of the vehicle, or he may keep them. Regardless, the history of the award(s) has been logged in the Judging Standards Committee records. So, if you decide to bring the vehicle to a National Meet, you can check the box that says Emeritus and the records will be verified before the vehicle is shown. You must remember that Emeritus status means that the vehicle has been maintained at the Dearborn Award level. That, will be determined at the National Meet by a team of judges during the walk-around.
