I've installed new rubber bushings on my stabilizer bar. How do you get the bar re-installed on the car?

I assume you are talking about the clamps that hold the bar to the cross member in the front and you can't compress the new bushings far enough to get the bolt started. If so, here is what I do. Use a longer bolt to start with and after you get the new bushing and clamp compressed down, use a pair of vise grips to hold it together. Then remove the longer bolt and replace it with the original. If this isn't what you were talking about, well, I tried.

hi if you have the car jacked up the suspension is hanging down, if you have a few JACK STANDS or similar,put them under the A arms, maybe with the front wheels removed, let the ft end down ,so it compresses the springs, so it is not stretched,this might also help, just my 2 cents worth, 37RAGTOPMAN

Thanks 37 I finally got it back together with the long bolt idea and your jack stand idea, plus a c clamp to pull the last grommet on the end of the bar into place. That was my first and last stabilizer bar installation. Jerry
