Does anyone know here I can get the (2) rubber grommets for the Head light wires on my 1940 convertible where they go through the inner fender panels. It seems that they would be about 1 1/4"(+) total around the outer side. with about a 3/8" hole for the wires. The 2 holes for them in the inner fender panels to receive them are 1" diameter. Is there something that can be substituted if They aren't available?? Mac's, nor Carpenter, list them!

Any decent hardware store has a box full of different size grommets.

Yeah, I went to my local True Value, and that had about 6 or 7 sizes, but none were the right size. I guess I have to go to a bigger and better one about 14 miles down the road. Advance Auto parts had a small bag With one of each, of about 7 sizes, for $5.95!! If one was the right size, I would have had to buy 2 bags of them to get 2 the right size!! $11.90 plus tax for 2 grommets!!!

You may also go the McMaster-Carr website. Great company to work with. MUCH better than Grainger. They have just about anything you can imagine. Prices are fair, shipping is fast and reasonable.
