Hello I am new to the group and new to restorations and to early Ford V-8's. I have a 41' with a frame number of *99T<->626342* Which is to have the 239 in it. The truck does have the 239 but the weird part is it is supposed to be a 122 or 124 I believe wheelbase and mine is a 134. It's been hard to find info on this frame and truck. I have a spare engine and spare transmission with it two, but both needs rebuilt. I have found out that the frame was made in the River Rouge plant and that it had the larger engine. Then it's a hole in the information until it turns up as a farm truck in Pennsylvania. Even then it's in a junk yard when found. Where can I learn more about this truck and what its original colors was and all. I know it was a stake bed. I also found a few components with German descent from that time period if you will which has confused me. The truck is in pieces, and I have never worked on one before. Is there a place that I can find how to put this thing back together.
