Hello Folks, Thanks for allowing me to join. I have a few Fords. I just bought a 1950 Ford F2 without a title and have some issues finding out the vin details of this truck. If you can reccomend or help out in anyway, TIA!!! *98RD*397522*AT

Your Serial number shows the truck is a 1950 F-2 V8 built in Atlanta. The below FTE thread gives a lot of detail, but basically the 1949 numbering sequence was carried over to the 1950s. Thus the 98 of 1949 remained in 1950. The R is V8, the D is F-2, and the unique 397522 places the truck squarely into the 1950 sequence. There will also be a cowl stamping that will allow the guys on FTE to tell you build date and color. I’m not so good on that task. the VIN on the frame is front right side (pass) of frame towards the front clean off frame to verify, there should be a matching info tag on the inside the glove box door
