Topic: 1930's Ford engine serial numbers by year of produ

My 1937 Ford Book has these serial engine numbers for 1937, but I can find no list for the other years. A friend has a tranny with 18-2022674 and wants to know year of production. I think is a '32 because of bracket and e. brake lever attached on right side. Thanks to anyone getting this tranny I.D. for me and how can I acquire a list of engine numbers for 1932 through 1940, my vintage of interest. Merry Xmas!!

I frequently use this site for information: http://www.vanpeltsales.com/FH_web/flathead_serialnumbers.htm

It says the case is 1935. You will find minor discrepancies among the various sites/books. You talk about a bracket and e brake lever attached on the right side. Is this possibly a '32 top on a later transmission? Without seeing what you are describing is this possibly a later add on bracket or is it part of the shifter casting (which would be '32)?
