Topic: engine pans 32 pickup

Does any one have a picture of 32 pickup pans/splash guards so I could build them or buy them if they are avaiable. These are the pans between the frame and four cylinder engine. Pete

To my knowledge the pickup used the same pans as the 4 cylinder passenger car. Hopefully someone who is working on 4 cylinder car can post a picture of the pans.

Here is a picture of the 4 cylinder pans. These are early, later pans had a slit under the steering box to clear the brake rods. Better to buy than try to build. My guess is that you could buy a good set for about $300. If you want to build, get back with me.

Mine look similar but has a slot in them.

  Jim,

The pans with the slot are correct for cars after June according to "The 1932 Ford Book". There is a good photograph on page 5-7 of the book.
