Does the choke rod for a v8 run in a straight line from the dash knob to the carburetor mtg or are there dog leg bends in it under the dash? Thanks.

Yes, on a '32 V-8 equipped with an original Detroit-Lubricator carburetor the choke rod is straight without any bends. Dave
