Topic: Steering column horn/switch rod

  Happy New Year all.
I'm hoping someone here can help?
I'm trying to repair a horn switch rod for my 32. I'd like to know the dimension (length) from the back of the switch lever to the notch on the end of the rod. The reason for my confusion is that Mac's show one length and lebarron/Bonney show a different one. I feel that the dimension I indicated (back of lever to notch) would be best and most consistant.
Thank you
Jim

The switch rod for a truck is 43 3/8 from the back of the switch lever to the top of the groove, the groove being about 1/8 inch, the distance to the bottom of the groove from the lever being 43 1/2. I did not see rods for 32 models in my current LB catalog. It may help if you specify what body style you have as there may be differences in length.
